Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi has granted approval for 100 more seats in B. Pharmacy for Aryans Pharmacy College, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh Vide notification No. 1302: PB-110\/2021- 2022, 112 C, dated 27th June, 2021. On the other hand, Maharaja Ranjeet Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda has also given its affiliation for 100 more seats of B. Pharmacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that the Pharmacy profession has remained a trusted profession for the healthcare needs of people. Now the role of pharmacists will be more after this pandemic. The Covid-19 pandemic has exposed the fragile healthcare system of the country. It has put the focus back on multiple challenges being faced by the health sector. There has always been a shortage of pharma professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further added that this crisis has served to highlight how vital healthcare workers are? Keeping in view, more B. Pharma seats have been added as the demand for Pharma professionals will not disappear in post Covid-19 scenario but is projected to increase in the coming years in both Government as well as Private sectors, added kataria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
