- Through this Scheme, students will be provided educational loans up to Rs 10 lakh for higher studies
- Students studying in class 10th or above will be able to take benefit of this scheme
- The loan provided through this scheme will be available at a very low rate of interest
- In order to get the number of loans students will be provided a credit card
- Through this credit card, students can withdraw the amount of loan
- All those students who are living in West Bengal for the last 10 years can take benefit of this scheme
- West Bengal Student Credit Card can also be availed for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral studies in India or abroad
- The benefit of this scheme can avail till 40 years of age
- After getting job students to have to repay the amount of the loan within a period of 15 years

Registration
- First of all, go to the official websitehttps://wbscc.wb.gov.in/of the West Bengal student credit card scheme
- On the homepage, you are required to click onStudent Registration
- Enter the required information in the registration form.
- Unique ID will generate and it will send to your registered mobile number
Login
- Now you are required to click on thestudent login
- After that, you have to enter the application ID, password, and captcha code
- Now you have to click on the login
- Applicant dashboard will appear before you
- Now you have to click on the application detail
- After that you have to click on the edit loan application
- The application form will appear before you
- You have to enter the following details in this application form
- Personal details
- Co borrower details
- Present address details
- Permanent address details
- Course and income details
- Bank details of the student
- Now you have to click on save and continue
- After that, you have to upload the following documents
- Latest color photograph of the student
- Latest color photograph of the co-applicant
- Signature of the student as specified
- Co borrower address proof
- Signature of the overawe legal guardian
- Student’s Aadhar card
- Students PAN card or undertaking as specified
- Co borrower PAN card or undertaking as specified
- Admission receipt of the institution
- Class 10th board registration certificate
- Now you have to click on save and continue
- A new page will appear before you
- You have to click on the submit application
- After that, a dialogue box will appear before you asking you if you want to confirm to submit or not
